Risk culture

A workshop about an important aspect of risk excellence: – risk culture.

A strong and robust risk culture is underpinned by shared attitudes, values, and practices. The risk culture is influencing how risks are perceived and addressed within an organisation and the structure of the workshop translated the risk attitude and strategy into projects supported by leadership commitment, open communication, and psychological safety – resulting in core pillars for embedding a risk-aware mindset at all organisational levels.

The workshop was designed in conjunction with the client, who specifically wanted to find ways to reward transparency and adaptability, enhance risk literacy through continuous education, and integrating risk considerations into decision-making frameworks. Using behavioural science principles, we also covered practical approaches for overcoming common behavioural barriers—such as groupthink, cognitive biases, and aversion to losses and communicating negative news.
